2. Is the MIPS positive payment adjustment applied on a per Medicare Part B claim basis or one lump sum bonus payment in 2022?

  1. The QPP is an annual program, and each calendar year is referred to as a performance year which affects your Medicare Part B fee-for-service (FFS) payments two years later in the payment adjustment year. For example, your performance in 2020 will be used to determine your Medicare Part B FFS payments in the 2022 payment adjustment year.
